Which false prophet used iron horns as a visual aid to a king? What did the horns represent and which king was this shown to?
Answer: Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made horns of iron as a visual aid to King Ahab of Israel. Ahab had inquired of 400 false prophets as to whether he should fight against the Syrians to take back the city of Ramoth Gilead. Zedekiah used the horns to show Ahab that he would gore the Syrians until they were destroyed. But being a false prophet, he was wrong. Ahab’s army was defeated and Ahab died as a result of the battle. (I Kings 22:11-12; 29-36)
