My Worship Listening Guide

Our little ones need training in every area of life:

  • Training them to listen and obey
  • How to do certain tasks
  • Potty training (the really fun one!)
  • How to ride a bicycle – starting with training wheels
  • Spiritual training – the most important category!

Part of spiritual training involves training them to worship. Not just learning to sit and be quiet and respectful but to engage their little hearts and minds to the extent that they can at whatever age they happen to be.

Children that are strong auditory learners may find it easier than others to sit and listen and retain. Others who are stronger visual learners and/or kinesthetic or “hands-on” learners may find it easier if they have something to look at and something to keep them involved, something that can help them be active participants in the worship.

This worship listening guide was created to help with that need – to help train little ones to be active singers, listeners to prayers, and listeners to the sermon.
